Coastal Carolina Neonatology (CCN) and Coastal Children's Services (CCS) is recruiting a full-time board certified/eligible Neonatologist to join our team of 7 Neonatologists and 11 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide neonatology services in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Betty H. Cameron Women and Children's Hospital at New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC), as well as some coverage at our 3 surrounding Level II NICU's in medical facilities throughout southeastern North Carolina. Our pediatric team also includes pediatric intensivists, pediatric hospitalists, pediatric/family nurse practitioners and pediatric subspecialists in gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology and pulmonology. This team provide continuous inpatient coverage to infants and children admitted to the hospital.

Opportunities to participate in quality improvement, research through The Pediatric Trials Network, and education are on-going. Our team actively engages the Perinatal Quality Collaborative of North Carolina (PQCNC) and the Vermont Oxford Network (VON) as well as participates in multiple clinical research trials related to neonatology/pediatrics. We also contribute to workforce development through teaching physician residents and medical students from various programs. This position also offers the potential for a clinical academic appointment through the University of North Carolina. Opportunity for clinical research is available for those who are interested.

- Doctorate

- Able to work in Lumberton and Wilmington, NC

- 2+ years related experience
