The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital has an opening for a third year fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine starting July 1, 2018 for the 2018-2019 academic year. The Division of Newborn Medicine at the Kravis Children’s Hospital of Mount Sinai offers an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine based primarily in our academic level IV NICU that provides fellows with a comprehensive clinical and research experience in preparation to become academic neonatologists. We take a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and our fellows work closely with the dedicated neonatal care team including attending neonatologists, bedside nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pediatric subspecialists, occupational therapists, neonatal social workers, respiratory therapists, child life therapists, and music therapists.
Applicants will have completed two years of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship at an ACGME-accredited training program by June 2018 and be in good standing. The accepted candidate will need a valid New York medical license by June 30, 2018, to start.
Interested candidates should submit the following:
• A letter of interest
• USMLE scores
• Two current letters of recommendation
• Name and contact information of current program director
• Valid ECFMG certificate, if applicable.
