We are seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NNPs with prior level 3 experience interested in providing 24/7 in house care with support from our pool of Neonatologists utilizing state of the art telemedicine! Job Description

In hospital day time working hours (8AM-4PM) on call at home overnight with routine questions managed by remote Neonatologist.

FT position of 10 shifts per month.

Per diems considered.

Requirements

Due to nature of position only Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NNP with prior level 3 experience will be considered.

Not open to new graduates.

Responsibilities:

Daily utilizes advanced practice knowledge and skill to systematically collect and evaluate health assessment data and to manage a caseload of patients

Consistently demonstrated effective communication skills and works to eliminate communication barriers

Consistently serves as an educational resource for the patient and family, community, and other health care professionals

Consistently applies new knowledge relevant to pediatric nursing to clinical practice

Demonstrates current professional, managerial, and/or technical knowledge and skills

Demonstrates nurse practitioner’s role behaviors consistent with the development of advanced nursing practice

Participates in departmental quality improvement program annually
