LAS VEGAS, NV: NEONATOLOGIST: (Valley Hospital) Due to ongoing city growth, (a net gain of about 3,000 people/month), three other Level III NICUs and 4 other Level II nurseries have opened up in the past 10 years, mainly in the suburbs. To keep up with that growth, our practice is seeking two BC/BE neonatologists to join our team of five physicians and two nurse practitioners at a hospital that delivers almost 4,000 babies a year. With an average daily census of 24, the 19-bed Level III NICU has approximately 350 admissions a year. In addition to perinatology, the practice has full pediatric subspecialty support. All surgeries are done here except open heart. The practice uses iNO, jet ventilators, oscillators and conventional ventilators. Coverage is also provided at a nearby brand new community hospital which will be expanding its nursery services this year. There is no state income tax.
