An exciting opportunity is available for two experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our team of 12 physicians and two nurse practitioners at Winnie Palmer Hospital (WPH) for Women & Babies in Orlando, Florida. This well-established, dynamic practice has cared for over 27,000 patients in its 30 year history and their consistently excellent outcomes have earned high praise from the state’s RPICC program. This practice expanded to a new, state of the art 112-bed Level III NICU in 2006. The practice coverage includes 24/7 in-house Neonatologist and 10-12/7 hour nurse practitioner coverage. WPH has a busy RN/RT transport team, neonatal ECMO and iNO, a residency program, and an extensive pediatric and surgical subspecialty support system. The nurse practitioners currently share day coverage along side several Neonatologists. As the nurse practitioner service grows, coverage will extend into nights along side one in-house Neonatologist. In addition to attending high! -risk deliveries and providing clinical care in the NICU, you also have the opportunity to participate in physician and nursing education, research for clinical development, or the many ongoing programs this dynamic medical center has to offer.
