#25608 - Excellent job opportunity at a major hospital in Missouri seeking extensive Neonatology locum tenens coverage in their 17-bed Level III unit, as well as a Level II and a Level NICU beginning ASAP. This hospital has approximately 1000 deliveries per year and has a current census of four babies in the Level III NICU and one in the Level II. Currently the Level I has no census and they don't expect it to; the doctor will just be doing consults. The neonatologist will do rounds and attend high-risk deliveries. The doctors work a standard schedule of 7 AM until 5 PM and then take beeper call at night. This is an excellent opportunity for neonatologists looking to pick up extra work on the side, full-time locums physicians, or those physicians looking for a new full-time opportunity. They can use up to three weeks per month and would be willing to consider as little as weekend coverage as well.
