The Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity available for a BC Neonatologist to serve as our Medical Director at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, South Carolina. The hospital has about 2,800 deliveries, 350 NICU admissions annually, and runs a daily census of 22-25 babies. In this position, you will have the opportunity oversee a 35-bed, Level III NICU; offer comprehensive neonatal care including high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide; provide service to the normal newborn nursery; and have the opportunity to teach family medicine residents. Our team of four full-time and one part-time physicians provides out-of-house call coverage and are supported by pediatric cardiology, surgery, and genetics specialists. Spartanburg is located about halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte. Situated 3 hours from the ocean and 30 minutes from the mountains, Spartanburg offers an attractive community and nearby access to a full variety of cultural activities.
