Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking BC/IS pediatric critical care physicians to join an established practice in Denver. The practice currently covers a multidisciplinary eight bed PICU at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. In addition, this practice covers Swedish Medical Center, a sister hospital with a Level I trauma center that is undergoing renovation to a six bed PICU. The practice provides comprehensive critical care to approximately 525 patients per year, and enjoys a wide range of medical and surgical pediatric specialist support. Denver was included in National Geographic’s Top 10 Green Cities in the US for 2006, and is in the midst of completing the nation’s largest light rail system. A diverse business economy, top-ranked educational institutions, vibrant cultural opportunities and championship sports teams are just some of the great characteristics of the Denver metropolitan area.
